You know that moment when you realize you’ve made a mistake but then you decide to go for it and embrace it anyway only to realize
you’ve created a beautiful mistake?
Well… this is the story…
One early morning, after we were done watching the amazing warm sunrise while visiting the Outer Banks I wanted to go play in the sand with my little one. It was just me, my little one and my camera in my empty bag. I took the lens cap off the camera to start snapping pictures of my boy playing in the sand when…
can you guess??? fog! fog on my lens! I left my lens pen and cloth and EVERYTHING in our place where we were staying.
It was too gorgeous and nice and I honestly didn’t want to waste time walking back, I just wanted to snap a few pictures, put the camera away and enjoy the time with my son. I embraced the foggy view through my lens and still snapped the pictures I wanted.
I knew what was going to happen,
I knew the pictures were going to be all foggy, but had no idea they were going to take my breath away just as it did right there in person, such a beautiful view, the perfect complement for the early morning, quiet time in the OBX.
This was our first time in the Outer Banks and I have another blog coming up next week talking about our experience but let me tell you
it was nothing short of amazing…
Enjoy the quietness of these images, breath in the salty air, feel the warmth of the sunrise on your skin…
